ProteoY is taking a new step in its development with the launch of a strategic project focused on next-generation biofertilizers and biostimulants.
This project, developed in collaboration with Neobiosys and I3-4-BIOFERTILIZERS, aims to create innovative solutions addressing key challenges in modern agriculture: improving crop yields while reducing the environmental impact of agricultural practices.
A differentiated technological approach
At the core of this project lies ProteoY’s expertise in developing rapid production systems for complex proteins.
The objective is not only to produce molecules of interest, but to design robust, reproducible, and industrially scalable platforms.
This approach significantly accelerates the transition from research to field applications by reducing development timelines and enabling large-scale deployment.
Accelerating the agricultural transition
Biofertilizers and biostimulants are emerging as credible alternatives to traditional chemical inputs. However, their large-scale adoption remains limited by technological and industrial barriers.
The project led by ProteoY directly addresses these challenges, with a clear ambition:
- to deliver effective and measurable solutions
- to ensure controlled and scalable production
- to facilitate integration into existing agricultural practices
A committed ecosystem
This project is supported by France BioLead, a key player in the development of bioproduction in France.
ProteoY also relies on a dynamic ecosystem, including Lyonbiopôle and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, both actively supporting innovation and the industrialization of biotechnology.
Outlook
This project marks an important milestone in ProteoY’s strategy: connecting cutting-edge biology with real-world industrial applications, with direct impact on key sectors such as agriculture, energy, and green chemistry.
Initial results will be shared in the coming months.
